Visits / Wine Tastings

Now that we are in late autumn and heading into winter, our wine tasting events have come to an end and will restart in March of next year. Thank you all for visiting us this year and we look forward to seeing you again in 2025!

The wine tasting event begins at the Son Alegre winery store in Calonge. There we offer you a glass of wine and then Miguel, the owner of Son Alegre, gives the group a short guided tour of the vineyard in front of the winery, each taking his glass. A pleasant walk through the vineyards that lasts about 20 minutes, and then a short 100 m walk to the farm, where the food and wines are already prepared. Afterwards, everyone sits down to enjoy a delicious meal. We start with our Sileo extra virgin olive oil followed by ¨pa amb oli¨ plus dessert, coffee and brandy. We also serve you with this meal two white wines, two rosé wines and two different red wines.
During the wine tasting, María, our sommelier, explains in detail how Son Alegre Vinya grows and how Son Alegre treats the harvest.
